The female I was dealing with told me she could 'de-register' it as it was it was a "Colt" and not an Italian repro. I told her she was wrong, but she was adamant that since it was a "Colt" '51 Navy, she could do it, so I told her to go ahead. No mention of doing the same for the .44 Dragoon, even though it was also a "Colt". In due time I got notified that the '51 Navy was now 'de-registered' and received the paper work. Several months later, I got an irate phone call from a male supervisor with a very strong French-Canadian accent, making it difficult for me to understand him. He accused me of falsely making application to 'de-register' a restricted firearm. I told him that I had argued with his agent, but she insisted. I asked if he was going to press charges and if so, I was looking forward to it. No, he was not going to press charges, but he was going to re-register the gun immediately. Young - April 23, 2018 https://dennisryoung.ca/2018/04/23/firearms-program-errors-go-unreported-parliament/ ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 23 Apr 2018 22:15:35 -0600 From: Larry James Fillo Subject: reaction to latest jihadi attack in Tor. My emotive reaction reminds me of the most famous counter-jihad cavalry to the rescue on Sept. 11.... 1683. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=75zmIj_4LFQ The Islamist jihadi was already identified by counter-jihad intelligence in the U.S. of A. and "known" to Toronto police intelligence. Though like France, Belgium, the United Kingdom et al, without political will to deter and disable, with such high numbers, jihad is impossible to prevent. Notice how many jihadi attacks you heard about in Poland/Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia ... exactly. Cold, hard analysis is that a change in federal government policy, this only after the Trudeau "diversity is our strength" Liberals get run over by an election bus. The Ont. prov. election is the first week in June, the vote for Doug Ford will be boosted by today's jihadi attack in the GTA. He's Ontario's only hope for a improving both the economy and security of the GTA, Ontario and indirectly the rest of Canada. From there, a Premier Doug Ford will be Trudeau's major opposition. Followed by A. Scheer and his watered down caucus, as competency is being replaced by mediocrity in a number of ridings. That Oct. 2015 Report on Terrorism by the Senate of Canada needs to be implemented (and more) as soon as a loyal to Canada fed. government can be elected. The requires winning against the anti-Canadian Maniacal Mainstream Media, too. If a Western province were to return to a provincial police force, the RCMP would have the manpower to bolster RCMP Security to the strength it needs. Though training, getting up to speed will take time and effort. There is a war on ! 10 dead and 16 injured by a jihadi in a rental van... could be the U.K., France, Belgium, Germany... but it's Canada and was as predictable as the Oct. jihadi attacks of 2015, showed how far advanced jihad is in Canada. An atrocity, a massacre... a friggin' outrage. The identity and security awareness of the perp. came out of the U.S. media, while Canadian MSM refused to admit what had already leaked out and the Trudeau Liberal (Shura Council) kept denying. ------------------------------ End of Cdn-Firearms Digest V17 #473 *********************************** Submissions: mailto:cdn-firearms-digest@bogend.ca Mailing List Commands: mailto:majordomo@bogend.ca Moderator email: mailto:owner-cdn-firearms@bogend.ca List owner: mailto:owner-cdn-firearms@bogend.ca FAQ list: http://www.canfirearms.ca/Skeeter/Faq/cfd-faq1.html Web Site: http://www.canfirearms.ca CFDigest Archives: http://www.canfirearms.ca/archives To unsubscribe from _all_ the lists, put the next four lines in a message and mailto:majordomo@bogend.ca unsubscribe cdn-firearms-digest unsubscribe cdn-firearms-chat unsubscribe cdn-firearms end (To subscribe, use "subscribe" instead of "unsubscribe".)
