Only 20 have ever been revoked for a firearm related offense. According to FBI Uniform Crime Reports, in 1987, FL homicide rate was 142% the national avergae. In 1988, it ws was 138%, in 1989 it was 129%, in 1990, it was 118%, in 1991 it was 98% (less than the national average!). Keep in mind that anti-gunners call Florida the "Gunshine State." We did not spend more money on cops or prisons during this time, and the state's 3 day handgun waiting period did not start until the end of 1991. There have been numerouss recorded incidentas involving CWL hod holders defending themselves. I personally know of two cases. Hope this info helps!
